The Journey
Over 25 years, the Ware family has navigated numerous challenges and triumphs in their mission to serve the community through baking. What began as Lee Ware's (Andre's father) vision for a small business was brought to life by Brenda Ware's initiative. She even attended Illinois Central College to build a solid foundation for their dream. In 2001, The Brenda Ware's Cookie Shack became a reality as they proudly opened its brick-and-mortar doors in Wisconsin.
Even after a necessary relocation from their original shop to operate from a church, Brenda and Lee Ware consistently demonstrated their commitment to hard work, smart strategy, and a deep love for their community. Brenda, in particular, was driven by a powerful desire to positively impact the next generation. This same resilience and dedication now inspire her children, who work daily to honor their late mother's legacy.

We're thrilled to have our website up and running, and we're excited to keep serving you our delicious sweet treats!
We continued hosting events and launched a holiday store in December 2024. In February 2025, we opened a new storefront at North Mall in Peoria.
Our founder sadly passed away, and I had now taken the reins of baking under The Ware's Cookie Shack. I'm focusing on more events and reminding everyone that we continue to offer delightful sweet treats.
